Junior Coach Program
Applications are due by 12PM, Monday, March 2nd, 2026.
Applicants must be 14 years old by April 6, 2026. If your 14th birthday falls after April 6, 2026 you can still apply, but your schedule will be limited to non-schooldays until your 14th birthday.
2026 Rancho Junior Coaches Program – Seasoned Wahoos, Leading our Youngest Wahoos! We’re thrilled to kick off a new season of our Junior Coaches Program. Supervised by Assistant Coach, Clara Roggensack, Junior Coaches will assist the coaching staff in various duties. Junior Coaches are paid $25-30/hour (depending on experience), bi-weekly via direct deposit based on their assigned duties.
- Assist with 6 & Under practices in the water
- Support swimmers at meets (including championships)
- Lead activities at social & spirit events as needed
- Be a positive role model for all Wahoo swimmers
Junior Coaches are expected to demonstrate leadership, positivity and team spirit while actively role-modeling to all Rancho Colorados swimmers in and out of the water. Candidates must swim as a member of the Rancho Colorados Swim Team and regularly attend both practices and meets, including the championship meet.
