The Rancho Colorados Swim Team (RC) is a recreational team focused on fostering a fun, nurturing environment for swimmers to develop stroke technique and a love for swimming, through family-oriented and team-building social activities.
We are part of the Diablo Community Swim League (DCSL) and compete in the DCSL Championship meet at the conclusion of the summer season. The team also participates in league and non-league dual meets, invitational meets, and the Contra Costa County Championship meet. RC averages two meets per week, with a week off around the July 4th holiday.
RC operations are managed by a group of dedicated volunteers committed to the ongoing success and sustainability of the team. Our Swim Team Committee and Coaches develop and pursue program goals to ensure positive and quality experiences for all swimmers and their families.
Additionally, RC hosts a Gutter Guppies program for younger children who are aspiring Wahoos and a Learn to Swim program for infants and toddlers (6 months to 3 years).
Please note, with the exception of High School swimmers, all families are required to join Rancho Colorados Swim and Tennis Club in order to participate on the swim team.
